The BoniLine, 07/25/09

One day after an uplifting win, we get a disappointing loss. Still, I’m not too worried about it, as there was some good out of last night’s performance. Unfortunately, none of those good things came out of Emilio Bonifacio, except for that nice pick and throw at third base late in the game.

Emilio Bonifacio: 4 PA, 1 H, 1 1B, 1 R, WPA/LI: -.054

Best Performer:
Jorge Cantu: 4 PA, 1 H, 1 2B, 1 RBI, 2 BB, WPA/LI: .185

Good game with the bat by Cantu, and some of the Marlins came up with some timely hits, but it was not enough. More on the game a little later.
