Yes, totally agreed. While I'm not looking forward to the JJ talk this offseason, I do think it would be wise for the Marlins to listen to offers and keep their eyes open. If what Peter Gammons/Buster Olney are saying is right and the Marlins are looking to see if they're competitive this season before considering a trade, I'd like to see the team stop skimping on the roster and at least make some smart short-term moves. And of course, that means not re-upping players like Ross Gload and trying to find any sort of value for Jorge Cantu. Joe A,

Yes, totally agreed. While I’m not looking forward to the JJ talk this offseason, I do think it would be wise for the Marlins to listen to offers and keep their eyes open.
