Great point, Mark. I think that if the Giants were just looking for a second baseman, that would be the case. What drives up the value a little bit is that what the Giants want is a power-hitting infielder, whether they be at 2B (with Sanchez moving to 3B), 3B, or 1B.

That being said, if they need to fill a power need, there are still a few players in the free agent market, which depresses Uggla&#039;s value. There are definitely moving parts.</description>
