Marlin Maniac Wants YOU (to write)

facebooktwitterreddit

I know you Maniacs out there have your own opinions and want to be heard. Well, I’m looking for a contributor to Marlin Maniac, someone who would be interested in sharing those opinions and unique insights. If you’ve wanted to write about the Marlins, here’s your opportunity!

There are a few requirements:

– As a contributor for FanSided, you need to be able to contribute 1-2 times per week, or 4-8 times per month.

– You need to have something to say (obviously). It can be anything Marlins-related. John covers prospects, but if that’s your thing, you’re more than welcome to hop on board. If you want to help work on any of the blog’s recurring segments, that would be great. I’d actually like someone who can provide Fish-Caps of interest, as I cannot always stay on top of everything. Really, it’s all up to you.

– You must be saber-inclined. You don’t have to be an expert (heck, I’m no expert myself), but you must be interested in talking about baseball in those terms. There are a lot of sites out there that can offer knowledge about sabermetrics, and you are always welcome to ask John or I about that sort of stuff too. Along with this requirement comes the corollary that no advanced analysis can be done using RBI or pitcher wins on this site.

If you think you can handle all of this, contact me or leave a message with some contact info and I’ll get in contact with you!
