Oh I am happy too. Good to see Cody succeeding, and I hope it leads to him landing a solid job. What I wasn’t happy with was seeing a lot of fans get upset that Ross was jettisoned when it was likely he’d be released anyway and that what we lost in terms of potential prospects in return was probably minimal.

He was always (except for this year) a great player in the clutch, and he is showing it now. though he is only an average overall player, when the game is on the line and you want a homer, he is top ten on my all-time marlins list. plus he's better in the bullpen than most marlins relievers ;) i was thinking that Uggla must have tipped him off on Halladay (uggs also hits well off halladay), especially on him pounding the inside, and i expect that Uggs has been secretly coaching cody through his great run.
