Logan Morrison recently visited the MLB Fan Cave and had this to say in response to his Twitter followership and his recent encounter with a praying mantis: “I’m going to be known for everything but baseball, I believe,” he said. “I was doing questions today on Facebook and they were asking me about Twitter and asking me about the praying mantis. Keepin’ up with the Stanton
With Mike Stanton‘s grand slam in last night’s exciting 7-3 victory over the New York Mets, word of his magnificence continued to spread throughout the league. The Mets’ Mike Pelfrey had these words (H/T Marlins Diehards) to say on Stanton (presumably said with a quivering lip and a timid expression): “I think Major League Baseball might want to find a way to get him out of the game, because he’s going to hurt somebody.” Truer words could not have been said. Sadly, the Marlins did not have the series they would have liked against the Atlanta Braves over the weekend. After back-to-back losses involving five runs allowed against Atlanta, the Marlins salvaged at least one victory, but even that win was tainted with some odd numbers that have to have Marlins fans a bit concerned.
