Weekend Review

As I outlined in my MarlinManiac Update when I took over the site, Monday will be the day for a look at what transpired for the Florida Marlins over the weekend. On Monday’s we will look at an overview of games, notes, news, and other Marlin related topics.

Sadly, not much went on this weekend for the Fish. Not much in terms of movement at all. So today I will take some time to catch you guys on what happened in the games in Taiwan that two Marlins were involved in, Logan Morrison and Emilio Bonifacio.

MLB.com did a wonderful article on the Taiwan All-Star series. Of interest to Marlins fans was what Logan Morrison said was his most memorable experience was.

• Marlins outfielder Logan Morrison bargaining with jewelry-stand proprietors during a bustling Friday morning at the Taichung jade market.

Here’s a picture I found online of Logan Morrison with a fan in Taiwan. There is a lot more of this on Logan Morrison’s twitter account, @LoMoMarlins.

That is all today folks, be sure to check in tomorrow for the debut of the new segment, “Marlins Way.” Not sure what that is, please tune in and find out.

Topics: Emilio Bonifacio, Logan Morrison, Miami Marlins, Taiwan All-Star Series
