Welcome to MarlinManiac’s newest segment. Well, actually it is not really new. Michael was doing this type of thing on MarlinManiac before. He took the name over with him to Fishstripes, so I had to come up with a new name for the segment. The name I chose was “Marlins Way” for a couple of reasons. 1.It is one of the new street names surrounding the stadium, and 2.Marlins fans should be very excited about the new “Marlins way” of doing business. Without any further ado, here is a look at some links around the internet dealing with the Fish.
- Jose Reyes may very well become the Marlins starting short stop very soon, but did you know that he can also rap? (Autotune sucks.)
- But if you do enjoy autotune, here is the official song of the day for Marlins fans.
- If you are feeling nostalgic today, head over to Marlinsdaily.com and read about Strip Club With Stanton”s first baseball game experience ever.
- Speaking of SCWS, he has an inside source telling him that the Marlins and Reyes are very close to reaching a deal.
- FishStripes has been very busy since the new staff has taken over. Here are some links from over there.
- Interested in what Marlins players and fans are saying on twitter? MarlinsMr can give you a good look.
- Michael Jong continues to push for the Marlins to make a run after C.J Wilson. MarlinManiac endorses this move. Also, another interesting look by Michael at how a 3-year contract with Reyes makes perfect sense for the Marlins.
- Also on Fishstripes, Ted Hill gives us a look at what we should remember from the 2011 season.
- Lastly from Fishstripes, please go and vote for your All-Time Marlins catcher.
- Dave Hyde from the Sun Sentinel talks about the Marlins reinventing themselves by signing a major free agent this off-season.
- Are these Marlins new home jersey’s? If so, what are your thoughts on them?
