Sources: Marlins have made substantial offers to Reyes, Pujols AND Buehrle

As a Miami Marlins fan I am freaking out here. No way can this be happening. Can it? Well, according to Joe Capozzi of the Palm Beach Post, the Marlins maybe ready to sign all 3, well, they are not ruling out the possibility just yet.

This is mere speculation, but this is what that potential team could look like:

Lineup:

  1. Jose Reyes SS
  2. Emilio Bonifacio CF
  3. Hanley Ramirez 3B
  4. Albert Pujols 1B
  5. Logan Morrison LF
  6. Mike Stanton RF
  7. Omar Infante 2B
  8. John Buck
Pitching Rotation:
There is no way to deny that this would be one of the most, if not the most talented team in baseball. But this is a pipe dream, and realistically has no shot of happening. They would be adding close to $70 million in payroll to just 3 players. Marlins do not seem like they are that ready to spend money yet.
But then again….
