Marlins outfielder Logan Morrison (@LoMoMarlins) will be putting on his second annual Camp for a Cure at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, Florida (the spring training home of the Marlins) on January 14-15th 2012.

Here is his post via Facebook:

"~Logan Morrison: “My 2nd annual Youth camp (LoMo’s Camp for a Cure) benefitting the American Lung Association will be held January 14 & 15th at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter, FL. We have even more instructors this year. Great camp for an even better cause. For more info and registration please go to www.LoMo4Lungs.com”"

For those that don’t know, Logan’s father passed away on December 8, 2010 after a long battle with lung cancer.

Last year, in honor of his father, Logan began the LoMo Camp for a Cure.  A two-day camp that Logan and several other Marlins players and MLB players participate in to help teach kids aged 8-18 the fundamentals of baseball.

My son is only 4 so, unfortunately, he is too young to attend the camp, but for those of you with children that fit into that age range this is a great opportunity to learn baseball from professional baseball players.

Logan asks for a small donation of $250 per child to participate and proceeds go to the American Lung Association.

You can register and get more information about the camp HERE.

You can also make donations directly to the American Lung Association HERE.

Happy Holidays Marlins faithful.  Till next week.

Go Marlins!!!!
