1997 v. 2003: Third Base Results

It has been a while since I last did this. I would like to apologize for the extended time it took. However, today we will continue today on the Marlins 1997 v. 2003 series. We have already done the catcher, first base, and second base positions. Here is a quick look at what the team looks like thus far:

So who is the Marlins World Series third baseman? Drum roll please:
In a landslide victory, the winner is Mike Lowell!

Which Marlins World Series Third Baseman was better?

  • Mike Lowell (91%, 39 Votes)
  • Bobby Bonilla (9%, 4 Votes)

Total Voters: 43

We had 43 votes and 39 of them went to Lowell. Nice try Bobby Bonilla, but Lowell is a big time celebrity in Miami.
I will start the poll for the 1997 vs. 2003 Best World Series Shortstop tomorrow. Please stop in and vote for either Edgar Renteria or Alex Gonzalez. Both of whom were heroic one way or the other in their respective world series.
