Want To Take Home a Bag of Dreadlocks?

All Star shortstop and new Miami Marlin Jose Reyes recently put an end to his 3 year project. Due to the organizations hair/facial hair rule, Reyes was forced to shave his dreadlocks which have not been cut in 3 years! The hair cut was shown live on the MLB Network and featured a mini interview with our new shortstop. During the interview, Reyes admitted he washes his hair on average 1 time a week! Having a shaved head, I know nothing about dreadlocks so maybe that’s a common issue, who knows? As a fan, I already love Reyes and I’m very excited for his future in Miami. However, I do believe my affection does not reach the point to buy a ziplock bag full of cut dreadlocks.

BUT FOR YOU FANS WHO WOULD ADORE THAT OPPORTUNITY, HERE IS YOUR CHANCE. (YOU HAVE TO HURRY)

Reyes agreed to put his dreadlocks on auction with all proceeds going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation of South Florida. The locks are currently on ebay.com right now for $6,010. The last day to bid on the locks will be February 7th. The link is posted below if you are interested. This brings me to my main question to all die hard Marlins: If you had the opportunity to purchase Joes Reyes’s dreadlocks for under $50 would you? This is a debatable subject because it does not feature a signed ball or bat…..it’s his hair. (That is rarely washed)
