Miami Marlins Home Run Feature in Action

When the Miami Marlins were set to leak their uniforms, Marlins fans braced for the worst possible outcome. They did so again when they saw initial images of the hideous home run structure. The home run structure seemed like a huge eye sore when the fans saw it for the first time in person at Fan Fest.

Tonight, we get to see the home run feature in action:

Honestly, it is not as bad as I thought it was going to be. The water sprout thing is kind of cool and I like the Fish flying around. Overall, it is cheesy, but not the eye sore I believed it was going to be.

The home run feature seems highly unnecessary, but then again, I could be saying this is the greatest thing ever if we see Giancarlo Stanton hit a huge bomb opening day and this thing goes off with some good music in the background.

I personally do not hate it, but I am not falling in love with it right now either. If anyone can change my mind, it has to be Stanton!

What are your guys’ thoughts? Is it as bad as you initially feared?
