My self-summary

I’ve been around the block a few times. The Marlins will be my fourth team since being drafted in 1994, and I’m excited to play with guys like Logan Morrison, Adeiny Hechavarria, Donovan Solan—oh god what have I done?

Anyways, I’ve compiled three gold gloves, 2,000 hits and hahaha wow I hit .341 in 2007. That was awesome. I’m a Libra.

What I’m doing with my life:

I’m usually spending time with the family, hanging out with my buddy Pujols. I enjoy doing things men my age usually do: fishing, asking the neighbor kids to get off my lawn, lying in my easy chair to comfort my back pain. I also play baseball.

I’m really good at:

When the ball is rolling to me very slowly and I have to use my throwing hand to pick it up. That is a fun play to do. Also, are you familiar with the term, “bloopers?” Not like in the movies.

First things people usually notice about me:

I’m very friendly in the clubhouse. Despite being in Miami because the Marlins failed to put together a trade for someone like Mike Olt or Nick Castellanos and are still waiting on Zack Cox to put it together, I could very well become a fan favorite. I play pretty good defense and I’m a good contact hitter. People tell me I’m short.
