The Miami Marlins dropped the first game of the double header to the Minnesota Twins by the final score of 4-3. Jose Fernandez labored through his fourth career start. Alex will have the game recap for the first game up in a little while.

The second game of the day will feature a Ricky Nolasco and Mike Pelfrey pitching matchup. Neither pitcher has been dominant early in the season and this game has the potential of becoming a slugfest if both pitchers struggle in this one. Pelfrey has allowed 10 runs in  just seven innings of work his last two outings on 15 base hits.

Hopefully Nolasco has his best start in what looks like a must-win for the Marlins.
