After finishing up their first sweep of the season over the New York Mets, the Miami Marlins look to build on their season high three game winning streak. The Marlins improved to 6-3 against the Mets in 2013 and now get to face another team they have endured success against in 2013.

The Marlins come into Monday’s game at 4-6 against the Philadelphia Phillies on the season. In fact, 10 of the teams 16 wins have come against the Phillies and Mets.

Tom Koehler will take the mound for the Marlins in this one. Koehler has enjoyed his four starts as a starter since being moved into the bullpen in favor of Wade LeBlanc. He still though is seeking his first win of the season.

The Phillies will counter with Kyle Kendrick, whom has enjoyed plenty of success against the Marlins in his career. Kendrick in his lone start against the Marlins pitched seven innings allowing just two earned runs and seven hits.
