The Miami Marlins lost a heart breaker on Tuesday night that hardly anyone saw. Nathan Eovaldi made a strong impression in his first start of the season, but unfortunately the Marlins offense did not give him enough support.

Jose Fernandez will be given the start on Wednesday afternoon to try and get the Marlins their second consecutive series win. In his last start, Jose struck out a career 10 hitters. The Marlins hope he can repeat that performance on Wednesday to propel them to another series win.

Trevor Cahill will get the ball for the D-Backs. Cahill struck out 10 and gave up just two runs on five hits in his last start against the San Diego Padres. He however was the losing pitcher in that game, as his offense only gave him one run of support.
