The Miami Marlins continued their new found winning ways on Tuesday night, taking the first game of their brief two game series with the Minnesota Twins. Their quartet of rookies, Derek Dietrich, Marcell Ozuna, Jose Fernandez, and A.J. Ramos, led the way.

Tom Koehler will take the bump seeking his second straight strong start and the Marlins third straight victory. Koehler can breathe easy that the Miami Heat season is over, as he lost his no hitter almost simultaneously as Lebron James hitting a dagger jumper to seal the Heat’s third championship.

The Twins will counter with left handed starter Scott Diamond. He has not pitched too well in 2013, as he owns a 5.27 ERA and an FIP of 4.50. In his last start against the White Sox, Diamond allowed four runs (three earned) on seven hits and a walk in 5 1/3 innings. The Twins did end up winning that ballgame.
