The Miami Marlins looked well on their way to their third victory of the season against the Pittsburgh Pirates, as they nabbed an early 3-0 lead. Henderson Alvarez delivered a strong start, minus his the three run third that gave the Pirates a chance to even the game.
The Marlins scored only 3 runs despite picking up a double figure hit total, stranding 11 runners on base. Three runners were stranded on a spectacular diving catch by MVP candiate Andrew McCutchen.

Bold Prediction: Neither pitcher has been strong in 2013 and both are very hittable. I expect the Marlins bats, especially Giancarlo to break out in this game. Marlins win 8-4!
