14-10. That’s the score one might expect to see in the Miami Dolphins preseason game tonight or that is the numbers of runs one would expect the two worst offensive teams in baseball to score in their collective series. No that was the final score of last night’s Giants victory.

It will be interesting to see if the Marlins and Giants can repeat their offensive breakouts from last night, or if regression will rear it’s ugly head.

Tonight’s Pitching Matchup: Miami Marlins: Henderson Alvarez (scouting report) vs. San Francisco Giants: Matt Cain (scouting report).

Bold Prediction: The Giants bats seemed to be on fire last night and despite Cain’s ERA in 2013, his periphials still paint him to be a strong pitcher. Cain shuts down the Marlins lineup and Alvarez allows five earned runs in just four innings of work. The Giants win 8-3!
