This year’s playoff rosters seem to be littered with ex-Marlins and several of them are playing pivotal roles for their new teams. Maybe none bigger than Marlins hero turned villain, Hanley Ramirez who appears on his way to carrying the Los Angeles Dodgers to a series victory over the Atlanta Braves. I wonder if Jose Fernandez has become a big Hanley fan as he single handedly dismantles the big mouth Braves?
He’s bigger than you think, Hanley Ramirez is. Broader. Thicker. He walks with that heaviness sometimes, in the later innings when his body is weary, especially heavy for a man who plays shortstop and twice stole more than 50 bases in this league.
best 2 hitters in playoffs may be ex-marlins Miggy & Hanley. qualifying marlins leader in BA: giancarlo stanton, .249

The Miami Marlins expected Rob Brantly to continue taking steps forward, but the first-year catcher struggled in all aspects of the game and saw himself demoted by midseason.
Thank u to the #Marlins organization for 7 1/2 awesome years with them. Will never forget them or all the great people I met along the way. From coaches to players and teammates. Raised me in the professional baseball world.
