With the Marlins off-season in full swing, quite a few rumors have sprouted that involve the Marlins looking to trade their talented, oft injured, first baseman Logan Morrison. With nothing set in stone, we decided to take a proactive approach and explore a few trade options that may make sense for both the Marlins, and whichever trade partner may be interested.

For this exercise, we have enlisted the services of various editors of other sites. We negotiated trades and, to be honest, we were pretty surprised at what we were able to get in return for Morrison. Let’s begin!

My favorite trades from this article are the Brewers and M’s trades. i think we get back some really nice players for what we are giving up. I would love to have nick franklin even if it means trading away Nicolino too.

i dont like the cubs trade either. i feel like the cubs are getting too much out of us AND they are making room in their payroll and roster for their prospects

The Cubs and their fans may argue we are not giving up enough. I’d do this deal in a heartbeat.

          seriously?!

I am very high on Nick Franklin. I wish the Marlins would pursue him harder.
