Marlins Way: Jarrod Saltalamacchia Introduced as Marlin

The Miami Marlins made their big free agency splash of the off-season official on Monday, the first day of the annual Winter Meetings. The team introduced new catcher Jarrod Saltalamacchia to the media on Monday afternoon.

With the Marlins off-season in full swing, quite a few rumors have sprouted that involve the Marlins looking to trade their talented, oft injured, first baseman Logan Morrison. With nothing set in stone, we decided to take a proactive approach and explore a few trade options that may make sense for both the Marlins, and whichever trade partner may be interested.

Greatest Moments In Marlins History: #112 Carr On The Run

Welcome back to the Greatest Moments in Marlins History. Today we end our look at the Marlins past Lou Brock Award Winner. With moment 112 we take you back to 1993 and Chuck Carr’s 58 stolen base season. This season already had a first at bat home run in the All-Star game and a shut out inning in that All-Star game (trust me there are many more to come).
