It seems the Miami Marlins have instituted a radical new offseason training program with the goal of being able to produce more players with the physique of Giancarlo Stanton. The program requires the player to totally commit to the regimen including involving every member of his family. Over the weekend third baseman Ed Lucas tweeted out a picture to illustrate the amazing results his family is getting from the program:

Welcome back to the Greatest Moments in Marlins History. Today is a day to celebrate! With moment 99 we are finally in the double digits of days until Opening Day! Let’s jump on in with the first ever Gold Glove winner in Marlins history! Charles Johnson won the Gold Glove Award in 1995 as a catcher.
With us being done with the heavy lifting of the off-season, I think it’s a fair time to try and see how the division will fare in 2014. The Braves have to been seen as the early favorites in the division, despite having another short post-season run. Until they are defeated, they are still the NL East Champs. The Nationals seem to be improved on paper, but that was the case before they turned in a poor 2013 season. The Phillies should take a step back and I’d expect the Mets and Marlins to improve in 2014.
The Miami Marlins have continued their active offseason by signing embattled outfielder Jordany Valdespin to a minor league contract. According to Marlins’ blogger Joe Frisaro, the contract does not include an invite to spring training.
Welcome back to the Greatest Moments in Marlins History. With 100 days until Opening Day we bring you the last triple digit moment on this list. Moment 100 is Mark Buerlhe’s 2012 Gold Glove Award as a Pitcher!
Welcome back to the Greatest Moments in Marlins History. As we continue our look at the Gold Glove Award winners for the Marlins, let’s take a trip back to 2005 for moment 101. Today we are looking at Luis Castillo’s 2005 Gold Glove Award at Second Base.
Welcome back to the Greatest Moments in Marlins History. In moment 103 we left you with Luis Castillo’s 2003 Gold Glove Award, and I know some of you were wondering why I didn’t talk about Luis 2004 Gold Glove Award.
