I would like to point out that the Marlins currently have the best record in all of baseball.

  • Chris Logel

That windup looked like he almost fell over

  • Chris Logel

That would have made SC not top ten

  • Chris Logel

After Morneau getting hosed last night, Blackmon didn’t want any part of Stanton’s arm

  • Chris Logel

Surprised Redman didn’t challenge that play

  • Chris Logel

I guess he wants to save it for later.

  • Chris Logel

An error and then a double by Gonzalez gets the first run of the game.

Solid contact by the first 3 hitters. A lot of pitches getting the fat part of the plate.

That was a cannon by Ozuna

  • Chris Logel

Henderson desperately needs a double play ground ball here.

  • Chris Logel

    Morneau with another Rockies hit

  • Chris Logel

    2-0 Rockies lead

  • Chris Logel

Another solid hit. Alvarez is throwing meat right now. Bases loaded

  • Chris Logel

The good thing about these hits are that they are hit so hard the Rockies can only move up one base 3-0

  • Chris Logel

    Marlins bullpen stirring

  • Chris Logel

Man he needed that double play

  • Chris Logel

He gave up six hits and only three runs. stranded 3 on base.

  • Chris Logel

Tulo gets Yelich on the ground out.

Jones is 7-14 lifetime against Lyles

  • Chris Logel

Lyles is throwing lots of strikes right now

  • Chris Logel

Way to go Jones! Single up the middle scores Dietrich. Miami has been doing so much better with runners in scoring position.

  • Chris Logel

3-1 after the first inning. McGehee goes down swinging.

  • Chris Logel

And Alvarez gets the first two batters of the inning.

Salty flies out to left on a lazy pop fly.

  • Chris Logel

Jones snags a line drive for out number 3!

  • Chris Logel

Marlins go down 1-2-3 in their half of the inning. A lot of ground balls to second base

  • Chris Logel

Poor throw by Hech leads to error and lead off runner on first base.

  • Chris Logel

I don’t think we are going to win this challenge

  • Chris Logel

    He is safe.

  • Chris Logel

The broadcast just mentioned the error setting the tone on the Hechavarria play. They didn’t go into it enough. That runner on first pulled Hech into double play depth, with the next batter hitting a slow grounder into the hole, Hech would have made that play had he not been so close to second base., this whole inning would have been different. Miami did things like that a lot last year. Not this year so far.

  • Chris Logel

    Alvarez issues a walk.

  • Chris Logel

Redman is coming to get Alvarez and Kevin Slowey will take over

  • Chris Logel

Slowey walks in a run with his first batter.

Slowey with a clutch strike out there. I thought he was going to get call on the pitch before it.

  • Chris Logel

A chance to be a huge inning here.

  • Chris Logel

Slowey with another walk. bases loaded. Already given up 3 runs this inning.

  • Chris Logel

Ozuna makes the catch. Marlins trail 6-1

  • Chris Logel

I can’t believe it is only the 4th inning, it feels like the 7th

  • Chris Logel

    Another solid single by Jones

  • Chris Logel

    oh my gosh

  • Chris Logel

They got the call right. ball was just foul

  • Chris Logel

great play by Hech, just doesn’t get him at first base, but the Marlins turn a double play to get out of the inning.

  • Chris Logel

Yelich with a hard hit but Tulo makes another solid play to get him out.

  • Chris Logel

Sorry everyone, internet is dropping on me. If you are watching you know that Stanton has pulled the Marlins closer. Fish now trail 6-4
