On June 3, 2014’s episode of MTV2 Off The Bat, Melanie Iglesias once again got to hang out with Giancarlo Stanton. This time they weren’t wrecking cars with baseballs, they were driving around in Giancarlo’s Maserati. Not going to lie, it is a sweet car. Every time I’ve parked at the garage at Marlins Park I’ve seen that car. It’s a beast like Giancarlo, inside and out. What did Melanie and Giancarlo talk about while they were driving around South Beach? Well…

Let me start with the car. It is a gorgeous black Maserati with beautiful red interior. Now how 6’6 Giancarlo fits in that car comfortably is a little beyond me, but hey if I had that kind of cash I’d buy a cool car like that. So the interview starts with Melanie asking what Giancarlo’s dream car was when he was growing up. Giancarlo said he has always wanted a Lamborghini. If he keeps hitting like he is, he will have one in no time. We also found out why Giancarlo’s windows are super tinted. According to him, when he is by himself he likes to go all out and sing along with whatever’s playing.  What is playing on Giancarlo’s radio, you ask? He says he will rock out to NSYNC, Lil Wayne, Drake, Beyonce, Rihanna, and Miley Cyrus.  He did admit he’ll listen to anything it all just depends on the mood he’s in. It was fun seeing Melanie admiring the car. The segment ended with Melanie and Giancarlo telling us not to drink and drive. Very cool segment.
