What does, a marlin, Lion Country Safari, MTV2, and a touchy feely giraffe all have in common? How about this past Sunday’s episode of Off The Bat. On Sunday’s episode Off The Bat took our king of the Marlins, Giancarlo Stanton, to visit some jungle animals. Let’s see how it went.

The segment started off with Melanie Iglesias introducing herself and Stanton at Lion Country Safari in West Palm, Florida. I think someone has a crush on Stanton. This is his 3rd time on Off The Bat, and each time it has been with Melanie. They start off with visiting the rhinos. Stanton got up close to them, even being able to touch the rhino’s horn. Up next were the giraffes. Stanton and Melanie got to feed the giraffes. Melanie was hugging and petting a giraffe when the giraffe went in for a kiss. The giraffe missed but when he went in for a second time… well he didn’t get a kiss but… um how do I put this… he got some of Melanie’s mammary glands. Stanton had a good laugh from this. Next it was off to the camels, where Stanton and Melanie got to enjoy a nice ride together. Finally they got to see the Siamangs. They had to view them from afar, because according to the handler these are the most dangerous animals in the park. Stanton and Melanie got to throw them fruit. Stanton, as he put it, got the fruit to them and hit the cut off man. Melanie on the other hand hit the water with her fruit.

This was a very fun segment to watch. It was no Stanton Smash Cars, but just seeing Stanton’s reaction to Melanie and her “friendly” giraffe is priceless. Keep watching Off The Bat now on Sundays at 11 am on MTV2 to see what Marlins show up next.
