Miami Marlins Vs Atlanta Braves Game Preview (4/7/15)

The Miami Marlins (0-1) are set to square off against the Atlanta Braves (1-0) for the second game of their three game series. The Marlins, yesterday, were defeated by the Braves on a disastrous night for the team.

Opening day got off to a bad start when the game was delayed due to rain in a stadium with a roof. The Marlins weren’t too great with fundamentals last night, making numerous running mistakes, falling mid way to first after dropping a bunt or when Marcell Ozuna was diving for a catch and showing the umpire your glove even though he didn’t catch the ball.

The Marlins are ready to turn the page and are prepared for the next one tonight. They will be sending out Mat Latos. Latos, a Miami born guy was acquired by the Marlins in the off-season from the Reds in exchange for Anthony DeSclafani and catching prospect Chad Wallach.

The Braves had a nice win last night and got key hits from their young players, and even one from their starting pitcher, Julio Teheran. Teheran also pitched a solid game last night for the Braves allowing only one run.

The Braves will be sending Alex Wood out tonight to pitch. The lineup for the Braves is mostly the same, with a couple of small changes.
