Placido EstevezPlacido Estevez

Growing up in Culver City, California Placido's dream was to replace his favorite player, Steve Garvey, as the clean up hitter for the Los Angeles Dodgers. He still roots for those Dodgers, but has also become an avid follower of the Marlins since moving to Miami in 1993. A career in finance has naturally drawn him to become interested in the statistical analysis aspect of baseball. Above all, though, it is the intricacy and beauty of the game of baseball itself that Placido enjoys most.
