The Miami Marlins and Minnesota Twins will play a split double header today to make up for the game that was postponed due to the snowstorm that moved through the area yesterday. This is the Marlins only trip to Minnesota to see the beautiful Target Field.
To get you guys prepared for the series, I had an email chat with Benjamin Noble of Puckett’s Pond and Geoff Parkins posted the series preview this morning. Be sure to read both to get some insight on both teams heading into this series.
As Geoff updated in the series preview, there has been a minor change in the Marlins pitching plans. Jose Fernandez and Ricky Nolasco will flip-flop spots, with Fernandez now pitching in the first game of the double header.
The first game will now feature a pitching matchup of the young phenom Jose Fernandez and the streaking Kevin Correia.
