The Miami Marlins snapped their nine game winning streak on Friday night, behind a strong start from Jacob Turner. Turner was making his 2013 debut for the Marlins, after a disappointing spring landed him in Triple-A to start the season. Check out Daniel Zylberkan’s Pitch F/X report on Turner for great analysis on what Turner did right in his start.

Jose Fernandez will have a chance to extend the Marlins streak to two straight on Saturday evening and start the month of June on the right path. He will be on the mound for the Marlins for his 11th career start. The Mets will counter with Collin McHugh, who will be making his first start of the season.
