Tonight’s game features the return of Jacob Turner for the Fish and the Brewers’ Wily Peralta.
Nothing happens in the first inning. During the second inning, things get interesting. The Marlins strike first on a Logan Morrison double to center that scores Marcell Ozuna making the score 1-0 Fish. The Marlins add to their lead in the same inning with Georgia Tech star Derek Dietrich hitting a two-run home-run to right field scoring himself and Logan Morrison making the score 3-0 Fish. Nothing happens in the third inning.
The fourth inning is where the Brew-crew would get on the board with a Jonathan Lucroy sacrifice fly to center field that scores Carlos Gomez making the score 3-1 Fish. Nothing happens in the fifth inning. The Brewers add another run in the top of the sixth inning to make the score 3-2 Fish.
The Brewers tied and then went ahead in the top of the seventh inning making the score 3-4 Brewers. Then, as if the stars had finally aligned, Giancarlo Stanton hits his fourth home-run of the season to give the Marlins a 5-4 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning. Steve Cishek, who sells seashells by the seashore, came in to close out the ninth to give the Fish the win!
Till next week kids.
Go Marlins!!!!
