The Miami Marlins and St. Louis Cardinals missed a potential Jose Fernandez–Shelby Miller matchup by just two days. Fernandez, 20, is having a great rookie season, but has been outpaced by fellow rookie, Miller. The Marlins will instead get to face Jake Westbrook, who will be making his first start since the beginning of May.

Logan Morrison was a late scratch from the starting lineup due to a back issue. Hopefully this injury is not a lingering one, as the Marlins need him to get their offense jump started. Will have more updates on Morrison as they become available.
Bold Prediction: Jose Fernandez delivers a huge start in his first career game against the Cards. Stanton goes deep twice and the Marlins even their record for the home stand at 2. Marlins win 5-1!
