Miami Marlins @ San Francisco Giants Game Preview: Sunday, June 23rd 4:10 PM EST (Game 75)

Jun 22, 2013; San Francisco, CA, USA; San Francisco Giants catcher Hector Sanchez (29) celebrates with teammates after hitting a game-winning RBI single against the Miami Marlins in the eleventh inning at AT

Even with their heart breaking loss last night in extra innings, the Miami Marlins are still in prime position to take another series from the San Francisco Giants at AT&T Park.

Nathan Eovladi will take the mound for the second time this season to try and ensure the Marlins a series win. Surprisingly, the former Dodger has very little experience against the Giants, one which he struggled in anyways. Eovaldi will try to build on his last start, where he started off firing a blazing fastball, but lost some speed as the game wore on.

The Giants will counter with Matt Cain. He is having a surprisingly poor 2013 season, with an ERA and FIP above 4.00. The problem for Cain in 2013 has been his lack of home run suppression, allowing 1.42 per nine inning pitched in 2013. His career rate sits at .79 per nine innings pitched.
