Mandatory Credit to:http://media.photobucket.com/user/maxwedgedotcom/media/ugly_twins.jpg.html?filters[term]=ugly%20twins&filters[primary]=images&filters[secondary]=videos&sort=1&o=16The Twins are in town for a couple of games and, wait, it’s June.  June has traditionally been a vicious month for the Marlins.  This season has seen a resurgence of the Fish as they have won six of their last ten games.  Let’s hope it continues.

Tonight’s pitching matchup features the Twins’ Kevin Correia vs Marlins’ fireballer Jose Fernandez.  This is a good game.

First inning, Giancarlo gets a double and Pierre gets thrown out trying to steal second, but nothing else really happens.  In the second inning, nothing happens.  In the third inning, the Twins strike first making the score 0-1 Twins.

The fourth inning saw absolutely nothing of any significance occur.  The fifth inning was boring.  The sixth inning FINALLY saw the Marlins get on the board and get the lead with a bases loaded single by Marcell Ozuna that allows two runs to score making it 2-1 Fish.  The Marlins would add another run when Georgia Tech star Derek Dietrich lifts the first pitch he sees over the right field wall to make the score 3-1 Fish.

Not much happened in the seventh inning.  In the top of the eight inning the Twins get a run back making the score 3-2 Fish.  In the bottom of the eighth inning Marcell Ozuna gets another RBI scoring Logan Morrison to make the score 4-3 Fish.  Cishek sells seashells by the seashore comes in to close the door on the Twins. Marlins WIN!!!!

Till next week kids.

Go Marlins!!!!
