Moment 100 is Mark Buerlhe’s 2012 Gold Glove Award as a Pitcher! 2012, as many know, was the first year of the Miami Marlins. New stadium, new colors, new home run statue *yuk*, and new players. One of those players was pitcher Mark Buerlhe. Before coming to the Marlins, Mark won 3 Gold Gloves in a row with the White Sox. In 2012 Mark made it four in a row while wearing a Marlins uniform. Mark recorded 13 put outs, 47 assist, ZERO errors, was part of five double plays, and had a perfect 1.000% in fielding! If the ball was hit back at Mark it was guaranteed that the batter would be out! Mark became the first and only pitcher in Marlins history with a gold glove.
