As the Miami Marlins season enters the 2nd to last weekend, I wanted to take a moment to do something a little different. We have built the Marlin Maniac website with the goal of providing fellow Marlins fans a voice to share about their team. We hope that our fellow fans find this sight informative and enjoyable. The truth is, we are fans ourselves. That is why we our passionate about being a part of the Fansided network of sites. We want this site to be akin to sitting down out your local sports bar with other Marlins fans and talking about the Fish.
In honor of that, I wanted to write a post and use it to spotlight some of the fans around the country that are proud to display the Marlins regardless of how successful the team is. These fans have posted pictures of themselves supporting the Marlins on Twitter. I am proud to call them fellow fans and wanted to give them a shout-out on the ultimate Miami Marlins fan site. This is something that I will periodically do, so make sure you post future pictures of you supporting the Marlins and send them to us @marlinmaniac or #marlinsfans.
