By Ehsan Kassim

RF. Miami Marlins. GIANCARLO STANTON. A. Stats: 2/3, HR (1), 2B (3) BB, SO, R
Giancarlo Stanton hit his first home run of the season on Thursday, a line drive to the opposite field. It was his 155th of his career, which is now the tops in Marlins history. Stanton scored on a Ozuna walk in the 6th and was stranded on third after a double to lead off the 8th.

B+. Stats: 1/3 2B (2), SB (1), R, SO
After missing the last two games, Christian Yelich got the hitting going for the Marlins, collecting a single and stealing second base in front of Stanton’s two run blast.
. LF. Miami Marlins. CHRISTIAN YELICH
MARTIN PRADO. B+. Stats: 2/3 HR (1), SO
Martin Prado hit his first home run as a Marlin in the 3rd to extend the Marlins lead to 3-0. The homer came after he struck out on a heavy dose of breaking balls in the 1st.
. 3B. Miami Marlins
MARCELL OZUNA. D+. Stats: 0/3, 3 SO, BB, RBI
Full disclosure: I thought Marcell Ozuna was going to strike out for sure with the bases loaded in the 6th inning. He had two ugly plate appearances before that one, striking out on six total combined pitches in the two at bats. Instead, Ozuna gutted out the at bat and worked a full-count walk to give the Marlins a 4-3 lead. Ozuna struck out again on 3 pitches in the 8th with Giancarlo on third and two outs.
. CF. Miami Marlins
A+. Stats: 1/1, 3B (1), R
Any grade less than an A+ would be a shame for Ichiro Suzuki tonight. He hit a triple and made a beautiful slide at home plate, just avoiding a tag, to tie the game at 5.
. PH. Miami Marlins. ICHIRO SUZUKI
