1st base: Miguel Cabrera

Miguel Cabrera, or who fans call “Miggy,” was a huge fan favorite in his time in his Miami. He got the love of the fans right away…from the minute he stepped into the batter box in his major league debut. In his debut he came to the plate in extra innings and hit a walk-off hom erun against the Tamp Bay Devil Rays, which was his first career hit. Miggy played on the Marlins from 2003-2007 and in that time made three All-Star games and played a huge role on the 2003 World Series team. He hit 138 home runs In his time in Florida. He was later traded to the Detroit Tigers for prospects.
