 Hand pitched 60 innings, finishing with a K/9 of 5.7, a BB/9 of 5.40 and a 5.73 FIP which was good enough for a  -.5 WAR

Hand pitched 3 innings and had a 9.91 FIP.

 Hand pitched 20 innings, posting a 6.53 K/9, a 3.48 BB/9 and a FIP of 4.02.

Hand found himself both in a starter role and a reliever role. He pitched his most innings at the big league level in 2014. In 111 IPs, he posted a 5.43 K/9, 3.6 BB/9, and had a FIP of 4.20.

This has been an interesting year for Hand, and might be his best. He’s striking out more batters (6.8 K/9), walking fewer (2.27 BB/9) and owns a career low FIP of 2.44.
