Today the Miami Marlins look for a crucial sweep against the division-leading Atlanta Braves. Last night the ace Sixto Sanchez dominated a Braves lineup and tonight the hero of the season, Pablo Lopez is taking the mound. The Marlins have outscored the Braves 13-4 in the previous 2 games which could surprise anyone as the Braves were coming into the series scoring 64 runs in the 8 previous games.

The offense will face off against 10-year veteran, Tommy Milone. The Braves acquired the pitcher from Baltimore at the trade deadline for support and have not received any support at all. It has actually been the complete opposite as he carries an 11.37 ERA in his 2 starts with the team. The Marlins offense has picked apart poor pitching this year just like they did yesterday against Kyle Wright so I can see the Marlins putting up another 5-6 runs.

Marlins Braves series comes to a conclusion.

Pablo Lopez in his career against some of the Braves players:

Ronald Acuna 4-11 with 2 HRs

Freddie Freeman: 3-14

Ender Inciarte 5-10

Tyler Flowers 4-9 with 1 HR.

Dansby Swanson: 1-9

Austin Riley: 0-3

Free Bet Of The Day Pick: Marlins win by 1 run (+600) or 2 runs (+900). This is a very difficult one to pick, but I do believe the Marlins get the sweep, but I also believe it will be a tightly contested game. The concern for me is a Pablo Lopez HR with I believe he gives up and the bullpen coming out in a contested game in the 6th inning.

Current Record 3-0.
