After a 4-2 home-stand, the Miami Marlins hit the road for an important 10-game, 3-city road trip. The first opponent? The Diamondbacks, the team the Marlins just swept just last week.

Key to Win Series: Repeat Performance?

The Marlins pitching also dominated that series as well. Could we see a repeat performances?

Series Predictions

Offensive MVP: Miguel Rojas

It’s hard to bet against Rojas at the plate right now. Rojas went 11/24 at the plate during the 6-game home-stand over the last week, which also included going 7/12, 5 R, 2 2B, 3B, HR, and 4 RBIs in 3-games against Arizona.

Pitching MVP: Adam Cimber

Cimber has been lights-out during the month of May so far out of the Marlins bullpen. Combined through four appearances during May so far, Cimber has gone 5 innings pitched only allowing 2 hits and striking out 5 with an ERA of 0.00.

Bold Prediction: Garrett Cooper hits multiple HRs

Cooper is due at the plate, and could be on the verge of a big break-out series at any moment. Could it come this week against Arizona?

Next. Why Miguel Rojas is Massive Reason for Current Success. dark

This is the start of a very important early season road-trip for the Miami Marlins. It will certainly be tougher to do, but a series win to build momentum before they travel to LA and Philadelphia would be massive for this club.
