4. OF Griffin Conine – Miami Marlins No. 17 Prospect

2021 Season Stats: .253 AVG, .379 OBP, .535 SLG, .914 OPS, 13 HR, 37 RBI, 3 SB

The former Second Round pick by Toronto in the 2018 MLB Draft is enjoying a successful first season in the Marlins organization after being trading to Miami last September. Spending the season up to this point in High-A with the Beloit Snappers, the 23-year old outfielder is currently on track to have the best single season of his young career.

Conine is currently sporting a .253/.379/.535 slash line, along with 13 HR’s and 37 RBI’s across 170 at-bats. While he has struck out 78 times so far this season (45.9% of his at-bats), a key area of improvement going forward, there is no denying that Conine is enjoying a quality first season as a member of the Marlins organization.

3. RHP Eury Perez – Miami Marlins No. 24 Prospect

2021 Season Stats: 1-2, 2.33 ERA, 1.111 WHIP, 11 BB, 37 K

The 18-year old right-hander is enjoying an outstanding first professional season playing in Low-A with the Jupiter Hammerheads. Signed by the Marlins out of the Dominican Republic back in July of 2019, Perez is certainly impressing early-on as he currently sports a 2.33 ERA across his first eight starts of the season.

While Perez has only thrown 27 innings on the season, it’s clear why the 18-year old is emerging as one of the most talented arms in the Marlins organization. Showcasing at least two above-average pitches (fastball and curveball) along with a solid changeup, Perez’s pure stuff and control is certainly impressing early on for a young prospect who is 6’8, and still has plenty of room to continue developing.
