2. RHP Dylan Floro

2021 Season Stats: 2-4, 2.92 ERA, 1.351 WHIP, 2 Saves, 18 BB, 34 K

There are arguably two big names from the Miami bullpen that will most-likely be on the move over the next week and a half with the first being Floro. After being traded to the Marlins in the offseason after a strong 2020 season with the Dodgers, Floro is repeating that previous success during the 2021 campaign.

The Marlins set-up man has posted an impressive 2.92 ERA across 37 innings so far this season, while also tied-2nd on the team with 10 holds out of the bullpen. Floro has extensive postseason experience with the Dodgers, and should be a sought-after bullpen arm at the deadline.

1. RHP Yimi Garcia

2021 Season Stats: 3-7, 3.67 ERA, 1.252 WHIP, 13 Saves, 12 BB, 34 K

A free agent at seasons end, Garcia is most-likely the Marlins reliever that will receive the most interest over the next week and a half. Spending his first full season as a closer, Garcia has collected 13 saves so far, but would be an impactful arm for any contending team in the late-innings.

Garcia has certainly struggled at times this season, but is capable of phenomenal stretches on the mound like his production during the month of May where he posted a 0.96 ERA over 9.1 innings pitched. The 30-year old right-hander will most-likely be one of the biggest name relievers available, and could be the bullpen arm that potentially lands Miami the biggest return.

The Marlins have multiple bullpen arms that will receive interest, but which will be moved? If they’re not moved as well, you can certainly consider these pitchers as an excellent starting point for the Marlins bullpen in 2022.
