When looking at the current Miami Marlins roster, there is no-denying that Jazz Chisholm is one of the most-exciting players in the entire organization.

One of the Marlins top prospects coming into the year, Chisholm has continued to impress throughout the 2021 campaign as one of the top rookies in all of baseball. Now no, Chisholm will likely not win the 2021 NL Rookie of the Year, but another milestone is within reach for the young 23-year-old middle infielder this season.

Will Miami Marlins second baseman Jazz Chisholm post a 20/20 season?

Chisholm has enjoyed an impressive rookie season with the Marlins where he has so-far slashed .254/.308/.438 across 418 at-bats. During his 112 games played up to this point, 23-year-old holds a .745 OPS with 49 RBI’s, 18 doubles, and three triples.

However, there are two stats in particular that have garnered attention recently for Chisholm – his home runs and stolen bases.

Batting primarily at the top-half of the Marlins lineup this season, Chisholm entered play Monday night at loanDepot Park with 15 home runs and 21 stolen bases on the season. Chasing a 20/20 season in his first full season in the big leagues, Chisholm already has enough stolen bases, and even added yet another Monday night to bring his season total to 22.

Still needing at-least five home runs to reach 20 entering play Monday, Chisholm helped his chances in a big-way with a two home run showing to bring his season total to 17.

Still needing three home runs to reach the 20/20 mark, Chisholm has 12 games remaining to hit the three he needs. Five of those 12 will come at loanDepot Park, while the other seven will come in Tampa Bay and New York against the Mets.

Chisholm will likely top the 20/20 mark multiple times in his career, with the possibility for even more. Will the first time he reaches the 20/20 mark happen over the next two weeks, or will it happen next season?
