Series Preview: Miami Marlins vs New York Mets

When: Tuesday, September 28 – Thursday, September 30

Location: Citi Field, Queens, NY

In what will be the final road series of the 2021 season, the Miami Marlins travel to New York for four games against the Mets.

The Marlins are currently struggling at the moment having lost five games in a row, including a three-game series sweep over the weekend in Tampa Bay. The Marlins were also outscored a combined 18-5 during the series.

Miami enters play Tuesday with a 64-91 record on the season, as well as fourth in the NL East. The Marlins sport a 3-7 record across their last 10 games, and have struggled mightily this season on the road with a 24-53 record away from home.

The Mets have also lost five in a row as they were swept in three games over the weekend by the Brewers in Milwaukee.

New York sits at third in the NL East with a 73-82 record on the season, but have struggled recently with a 1-9 record in their last 10 games. The Mets have also scored a total of 606 runs so far this season, the same as the Marlins through 155 games.
