Patrick Monteverde was an 8th round selection by the Miami Marlins in the 2021 draft and is having a phenomenal year. Monteverde is 7-1 with a 2.13 ERA in his 12 starts this year, while boasting a 1.020 WHIP. Monteverde's command of the strike zone and strikeout rates truly shine this year, as he is averaging 10.5 strikeouts per 9 innings, 3.3 walks per 9 innings, and only 5.9 hits per 9 innings. Monteverde will show to be a great add to the game and he has a bright future ahead.
