Nasim Nunez, SS

Nasim Nunez was drafted by the Miami Marlins in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft and is also having a great season so far with the AA Blue Wahoos. Nasim Nunez has played in 68 games and has 320 plate appearances with a slash line of .226/.343/.308, which are slightly below his prior years numbers but none the less he is doing well. Nunez' biggest factor at the plate is his speed and that continues to shine this year as he has totaled 33 stolen bases in 36 attempts.

Last year between both high A Beloit and AA Pensacola he totaled an amazing 70 stolen bases in 86 attempts. If he continues to be a factor on the basepaths he will certainly be a disruptor to opposing teams and one the Marlins could use, especially with the larger bases. He could be another prospect to watch in the coming years, especially in spring training in 2024.
