Miami Marlins Prospect, Shortstop Jacob Amaya
The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp shortstop Jacob Amaya has been performing well and with Joey Wendle struggling, he could be a good option to bring up. Amaya currently has hit eight home runs and driven in 28 with a slash line of .282/.360/.475 and an OPS of .835. It's hard to see where he would need any improvement offensively, I think he could be one of the top prospects to get the nod in September, especially if Wendle is still struggling and no trade is made at the deadline.
