Miami Marlins need fans' support in final 2 home games
The Marlins are on the cusp of a playoff birth but have a tough series this weekend to get through
The Miami Marlins still have a shot at October but with only a handful of games left they need to win as many as possible. The Marlins have been struggling in non-starter pitching, which especially hurt yesterday in the bullpen game. Marlins bats will come alive most games and more than ever they need the fans support to push them through this tough last series at home.
The Marlins finish out their 2023 season on the road with back to back series against the Mets and Pirates and so this weekend series against the Brewers is the final home series of the season. Even if the Marlins make the playoffs there won’t be many home games since they are a Wild Card team. Here is your chance Marlins fans to show your love to this team that has pushed hard to make the end of September relevant and they need your support.
The Marlins need fans to come out, and they haven’t this week as they should. As a comparison, the Brewers series in Milwaukee averaged around 24,000 people a game and the last series versus the Mets averaged only 12,000 people. That is a huge difference and the home field advantage could really be felt by packing loanDepot park. Even the Friday night game versus the Brewers only had 15,800.
If you are a true fan you need to be there both Saturday and Sunday if you can. This is the playoff team you have been waiting for and they need a packed house this weekend to push us past the tough Brewers team, who recently defeated the Marlins in three out of four games in Milwaukee. Let’s get these last two games up to 25,000 cheering fans and help the fish fight for a spot in October. It's now or never for the Marlins, one thing is for sure, you will be able to buy a ticket and cheer them on at home only two more times this regular season.
